Senior Control Systems Engineer

With a strong focus on low-energy, zero-carbon design, this business supports clients across the full lifecycle of complex, technology-driven projects, from early-stage design through to commissioning and handover. You'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering team working on some of the most advanced buildings in the world, including data centres, R&D facilities, and critical environments.

Responsibilities
* Supporting the production of detailed MEP control system designs and specifications for a variety of building types.
* Developing points lists, sequence of operations, and functional specifications.
* Producing schematics, network topology drawings, and control function diagrams.
* Conducting condition surveys, preparing technical reports, and recommending improvement plans.
* Representing the company at technical meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
* Specifying and attending FATs, SATs, and Integrated Systems Testing.
* Overseeing commissioning activities and ensuring project delivery meets the highest standards.
Experience Required
* HNC/BEng in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years\' experience as a Senior Engineer or above.
* Strong understanding of building automation, instrumentation, and monitoring systems.
* Proficiency in control system design, documentation, and reporting.
* Experience with major control system vendors such as Schneider, Siemens, and Trend.
* Solid understanding of networks, cabling, and network security.
* Excellent communication, reporting, and client-facing skills.
* Ability to lead projects, mentor others, and deliver to tight deadlines.
* Flexibility to travel for international projects when required.
