The post-holder will assume day-to-day organisation of the staff and resources in CT imaging across the trust and support the site modality CT superintendents in developing and managing the growing demand for CT imaging.
The post holder will provide leadership and direct line management to the site modality CT Superintendent, Radiographers, and Advanced Practitioners in CT and support the Head of Radiology Service in planning the strategic development of CT imaging across the trust. The lead superintendent will work closely with all stakeholders to meet the demands of CT service across all Trust sites.

Main duties of the job
The Lead Superintendent role is an excellent opportunity for a radiographer with clinical expertise in CT imaging looking to develop their managerial and leadership skills whilst maintaining a clinical practice in cross-sectional Imaging. You will be working closely with the Modality Site Superintendent for MRI
We are looking for a dynamic individual with good people management and organisational skills to manage CT imaging across the trust at both Epsom General Hospital and St Helier Hospital.
The trust currently has 5 CT scanners; 2 on the Epsom site and 3 on the St Helier site.
With the growing demand for CT imaging, the post holder will be responsible for providing support for the CT modality site lead superintendents to ensure all areas maintain high standards of clinical care for our patients as well as maximising throughput and efficiency. You will be required to manage staff rotation into CT to ensure staff are motivated to learn and develop.
