Responsibilities
Reporting into the Pathology Operations Manager, the post holder will work closely with the blood sciences team to perform speedy and accurate processing of samples, validation of results, and training and supervision of junior team members, enabling provision of a high-quality blood sciences service for laboratory users.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Multidisciplinary expertise: 5+ years experience in clinical diagnostic Haematology, Biochemistry and Immunology
* HCPC registration (essential)
* Experience with a wide array of analysers both point of care and laboratory based
* Experience in writing technical SOPs
* Experience in validation/verification of new equipment/assays
