Part Time Financial Controller wanted in Stevenage
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to step up and support our clients in Stevenage. We work with SMEs, who require the services of a detailed oriented and confident Finance professional to help drive their business to the next level on a part time basis.
The successful candidate will be pivotal in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting as well as adding value across the whole business, influencing key decisions and playing a critical role in shaping the financial direction of the business.
About you:
Ideally you are fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE with experience of leading the finance function. This role is self-employed so it can work alongside other client work but you must have a minimum of 2 full days available.
Responsibilities and experience:
· Managing cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
· Improving processes and financial controls
· Balance sheet reconciliation
· Experience with leading a small finance team
· Confident with presenting information to financial/non-financial leader
· Confident user with Excel including, pivots, sum ifs and graphs
· Experience with Xero (Sage50 & QuickBooks would be a bonus)
· you must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years)
Salary: £35 per hour
Location: Stevenage
Hours: 2 days per week
