Overview
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust has a vacancy for a Consultant Radiologist with a particular interest in MSK imaging.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in sub‑specialty MDTs, contribute to the general diagnostic work of the department, including general diagnostic radiology on call (Specialist Trainee led on call service – evenings and weekends with outsourcing overnight). Home workstations are provided for protected daytime reporting, flexible working and remote review of on‑call imaging. Consultants are expected to provide prospective cover for annual and study leaves.
Primarily based at Bury Oldham Rochdale, with day/week cover at Salford Royal Hospital.
The post holder will work closely with other consultants and members of the wider multi‑disciplinary team to support and develop services.
Qualifications & Requirements
Full registration with the General Medical Council and a valid license to practice. Must be on the Specialist Register for Radiology, or within 6 months of CCT or equivalent at the time of interview.
