What the Job Involves The role of Lawyer (Adults Safeguarding) involves providing a comprehensive legal service across the Council, focusing on adult social care work. You will manage a legal caseload with a specific concentration on areas such as Court of Protection proceedings, DOLs, safeguarding, and adult social care. You will also provide legal advice and advocacy, prepare reports, and support both managerial teams and colleagues within Legal Services. The role requires at least two days of office attendance per week, with potential for increased in-office time during probation to facilitate learning.
