Technical Sales Engineer – Rapid Tooling Solutions
Your role
Rapid Tooling Solutions are a leading cutting tool distributor and engineering solutions provider based in the North East (England).
We focus on building strong relationships with our partners to enhance our engineering offer to market and support delivering the right solutions to our customers.
We are looking to add a Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen a highly competent team. Our customer landscape is diverse covering many industry segments and all application areas. Reporting to the Sales Director your focus will be to grow market share and develop new business opportunities by building relationships, sharing your knowledge and expertise to offer the correct solution for the customer.
Your responsibilities
* Build effective working relationships with customers and partners.
* Understand our customers challenges and work pro-actively to help solve them.
* Work in an agile and structured manner that enables you to be focused and driven to achieve goals.
* Offer pre and post sales technical support, sharing your knowledge of cutting tools and how to apply them correctly.
* Deliver technical presentations or trainings demonstrating how a solution will meet the customer requirements.
* Work with the customer to deliver and document cost savings to meet their targets.
Your skills and qualifications
* We are looking for someone who has demonstrated success in a sales environment. With a solid engineering background, is time served and understands engineering fundamentals.
* You will have a can do attitude with a winning mentality.
* Equally comfortable working on your own or contributing as part of a team.
* Knowledge or experience of CAD/CAM would be beneficial but not essential in particular Autodesk Fusion.
* Strong communicator with good negotiation skills
