Hours: 40 hours per week, Rota-based schedule across 7 days, including weekends

Role Overview
We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef on behalf of a prestigious members sports establishment based in Lichfield. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-quality venue with a brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen, offering an excellent working environment for culinary professionals.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality food for members and guests, contributing to a positive dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the preparation and delivery of the members menu, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Assist with catering forclub matches as required.
* Work across breakfast, lunch, and early evening service depending on seasonal demand.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation.
* Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company procedures.
* Assist in stock control, food preparation, and general kitchen operations.
* Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience working as a Sous Chef.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifications:
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum requirement)
