The Headteacher and Governing Body of St. Michael's RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This full-time post is offered on a fixed-term basis commencing on 1st September 2025 until 31st August 2026.
We are looking for someone who:
* is a practicing Catholic or is sympathetic and supportive of our Catholic ethos.
* can work well in a team, providing support for children under the guidance of the teachers.
* is sensitive to the emotional and wellbeing needs of children.
* has had experience of working within a school.
* has a sound understanding of child development.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
This position is offered on a fixed-term basis of 32.5 hours per week (39 weeks). Holidays must be taken during school holiday periods.
