Key Responsibilities
* Assist Head Chef with overall running of a fast-paced kitchen
* Manage stock levels in line with set targets
* Stock checking and ordering in Head Chef’s absence
* Contribute to Menu development alongside the Head Chef
* Assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards
* Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times
The Person
* 2 years minimum experience as a chef in a busy kitchen
* Monday – Sunday full availability required (45 hours per week)
* Must be able to reliably commute to The Highlander
* Have a genuine passion for food and high standards
* Knowledge of pro cooking techniques and food safety standards
* Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
* Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations
* Receive a share of gratuity payments on a monthly basis
