Pay: Competitive, based on experience (£163 - £223 per day)

Supply Desk are proud to be working with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Rochester, who are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team for a full-time, long-term contract running from September 2025 until July 2026.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Geography at KS3 and KS4 in a school that values collaboration, high standards, and student welfare. You’ll be joining a committed team that works closely together to create engaging lessons and maintain a positive school culture. The school welcomes both newly qualified teachers (ECTs) and more experienced educators who thrive in a team environment and can demonstrate strong classroom management and a genuine passion for education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Use innovative teaching strategies to bring Geography to life and encourage student curiosity.
* Maintain excellent classroom behaviour through effective management techniques.
* Support students from diverse backgrounds, including those with additional needs.
* Collaborate with the department and wider school team to support curriculum planning and enrichment activities.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.
* Be either new to the profession or an experienced teacher looking for a fresh, rewarding opportunity.
* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
* Have the resilience and enthusiasm to support learners of all abilities and backgrounds.
* Work well as part of a collaborative team committed to continuous improvement.
* Hold a current DBS check on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
