Beacon Lodge is a specialized mental health step-down unit designed to help individuals transition from acute mental health wards back into the community. If you are passionate about empowering people, this role will allow you to support individuals in gaining the skills they need to live independently. With a focus on key working, you will manage your own small caseload while contributing to the smooth operation of our service.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Recovery Worker, you will:
* Provide person-centered care through recovery-focused support, including key working sessions and group activities.
* Empower individuals to develop new skills and promote their long-term recovery.
* Work night shifts as part of our 24-hour service, ensuring continuous support.
* Devise tailored support and risk management plans for each individual.
* Facilitate effective discharge planning to help individuals transition smoothly back into the community.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience in the mental health sector and a solid understanding of the recovery model.
* Exhibit a solution-focused attitude and a strong commitment to a person-centered approach.
* Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

* Possess a genuine interest in helping others, along with a deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience.
