Qualifications
* Have a Level 3 qualification in teaching assistance or equivalent
* Have experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage, specifically with children aged two years old
* Be able to plan and deliver appropriate activities to meet the needs of the children in the two year old room
* Have experience of completing the ‘Progress Check’ for two year olds and other relevant assessments of development towards milestones
* Have experience of liaising with a range of professionals (e.g Health Visitors)
* Have high expectations for all children
* Have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and kindness, and demonstrating consideration for their development as learners
* Be able to provide cover for teachers in other areas of the Early Years when required
* Demonstrate high standards of spoken and written English
* Work as part of an effective team
* Carry out administrative tasks to a good standard, including using ICT
* Be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life
