Job Description
The Security Systems Manager – Parkwide Security & Surveillance is responsible for the technical leadership, project delivery, and lifecycle oversight of parkwide security and surveillance systems. This role leads to the planning, design, procurement, installation, integration, and acceptance of complex security technologies that support guest safety, operational security, and regulatory compliance across the park.
Partner closely with Security, Engineering, IT, Operations, Facilities, and external vendors to ensure systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to defined technical, cybersecurity, and operational readiness standards. The role provides day-to-day subject matter expertise and may manage direct reports responsible for individual security system packages. 1. Lead the end-to-end vendor selection process (RFI/RFP, bid evaluation, scope alignment, and award recommendations) for CCTV/VMS, access control, and related security technologies.
2. Define scope of work, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria for integrators and suppliers
3. Coordinate cross discipline activities with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Discipline activities with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
4. Track progress, identify delivery risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
5. Act as the technical authority for security systems
6. Review and approve system architectures, equipment specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
7. Ensure systems meet performance, reliability, cybersecurity, and maintainability standards.
8. Oversee system integration with IT infrastructure, operational platforms, and monitoring systems.
9. Manage relationships with system integrators, manufacturers, and service providers.
10. Review vendor proposals, technical submittals, and shop drawings.
11. Lead and participate in design reviews, technical workshops, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and site acceptance tests (SAT).
Qualifications
12. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Security Systems, IT, or related field.
13. Proven experience managing multistakeholder, mission critical systems in complex environments. Stakeholder, mission critical systems stakeholder, mission critical systems stakeholder, mission critical systems
14. Strong working knowledge of physical security technologies, VMS platforms, access control systems, and alarm systems.
15. Experience managing vendors and integrators in a project-based environment. based environment.
