The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, practical, and reliable Maintenance Person to help keep our Evesham-based residential homes in excellent shape. You’ll play an important part in maintaining the safety, comfort, and cleanliness of our facilities, ensuring that residents and staff feel at home.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days will be the same, but your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out day-to-day repairs and general upkeep of the home
* Basic plumbing jobs (e.g. unblocking sinks, repairing taps, fixing toilets)
* Painting and decorating to keep our homes fresh and welcoming
* Joinery and minor carpentry (repairing doors, fixtures, and fittings)
* Basic electrical tasks (e.g. fitting plugs, replacing light bulbs)
* Keeping outside areas tidy, including garden maintenance, drain clearing, and litter picking
* Making sure walkways are safe and accessible, especially in bad weather
* Disposing of waste responsibly and safely
* Supporting with equipment setup and maintenance as needed
What We’re Looking For
* Someone with a practical mindset and good problem-solving skills
* A friendly and approachable attitude
* Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, or decorating is a plus
* Someone who takes pride in doing a great job
* A willingness to work flexibly and travel locally as needed
* A commitment to keeping our homes safe, clean, and comfortable
An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful applicant.
