Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Recognised Medical Degree
2. FRCR (or overseas equivalent)
Registration
Essential criteria
3. On GMC registered Medical Practitioner GMC specialist registration or within 6 months of CCT or have completed CESR
Knowledge & Expertise
Essential criteria
4. Broad based general professional training in general medicine
5. Comprehensive training and experience in general imaging
6. Experience in IR including imaging guided procedures
Teaching
Essential criteria
7. Experience of teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates and junior medical staff
Management & Audit
Essential criteria
8. A broad understanding of the management role of a consultant and mechanisms
9. Knowledge of finance/budgets
Research / Publications
Essential criteria
10. Proven ability to carry out and present research projects
11. Presentations at National meetings
