Areti Group is partnering with a high-growth, specialist data consultancy delivering complex digital transformation programmes for enterprise clients across Europe.
This is a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of technical delivery, consulting, and executive engagement, working on high-impact, mission-critical data initiatives.
The Role
You will act as both a technical leader and trusted advisor, working closely with senior stakeholders to design, deliver, and scale advanced data platform solutions.
This role requires a strong balance of hands-on engineering expertise and client-facing consulting skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
* Engage with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives
* Translate technical solutions into business value
* Provide strategic guidance and influence decision-making
Digital Transformation & Consulting
* Lead end-to-end delivery of data transformation programmes
* Advise on data strategy, governance, and platform adoption
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
Technical Leadership
* Architect and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions
* Design and optimise data pipelines (ETL/ELT), integrations, and workflows
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Training & Enablement
* Deliver workshops and training sessions to client teams
* Support adoption of data platforms and best practices
* Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and capability development
Required Experience
* 5+ years in data engineering, consulting, or similar roles
* Proven experience delivering complex, client-facing data projects
* Strong stakeholder management experience at senior levels
* Track record of leading technical teams and projects
Technical Skills
* Strong programming skills (Python and/or TypeScript)
* Advanced SQL and data modelling expertise
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Experience building and optimising data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
* Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g. Palantir Foundry or similar)
Desirable
* Experience in digital transformation or change management
* Exposure to DevSecOps and modern engineering practices
* Experience delivering training or mentoring teams
* Additional European languages
