The Role
As Senior Client Manager, you will oversee a varied portfolio of clients, combining technical expertise with strong relationship management. You’ll also play a key role in reviewing work, supporting the development of junior staff, and ensuring the smooth delivery of services.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across accounts, tax, and advisory.
* Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, tax returns, and supporting computations.
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients, building strong and lasting professional relationships.
* Reviewing the work of juniors and seniors, providing technical support and mentoring.
* Delivering clear and proactive advice to clients, identifying opportunities to add value.
* Supporting the Partner in client delivery and practice development.
* Leading client meetings and ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
About You
The successful candidate will:
* Be ACA/ACCA qualified, with significant practice experience.
* Have a strong background in accounts preparation, corporate tax, and personal tax.
* Be experienced in managing a client portfolio and supervising staff.
* Possess excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Have strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence in client meetings.
* Be commercially astute, with the drive to contribute to business development and firm growth.
* Ideally have experience using software such as CCH, Sage, and Xero.
