This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of both strategic and operational objectives across our Property Services Team. Supporting the Head of Property Services, you will lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of Property Officers and support roles, promoting self-management and accountability while maintaining high standards of performance, compliance and tenant satisfaction. The role oversees the day-to-day management of planned, cyclical, compliance and investment programmes and has responsibility for the full asset lifecycle and the operational performance of property related contracts. You will champion continuous improvement and best practice in all areas of property services, driving positive outcomes for tenants and operational efficiency for the organisation. As a leader in an operational role, there is a contractual requirement to participate in an out-of-hours on-call service (approx. 2-4 weeks each year), for which an additional payment is made. We are a remote workforce, which means the ability to work from home, in a suitable space, along with access to broadband is required. A driving licence and access to a vehicle will also be necessary.
You will be an experienced property or asset management professional with:
* Leadership experience in a housing or property environment
* Certification in compliance or equivalent, eg. Corgi - Technical Levl 4 diploma asset and building management compliance
* Strong knowledge of housing maintenance, compliance and investment planning, including SHQS/EESSH and building safety
* Demonstrable experience in contract management, procurement and financial oversight
* A data driven approach to performance management and continuous improvement
* Excellent communication, coaching and partnership working skills
* A commitment to delivering high quality, tenant focused services.
