RURAL CHARTERED SURVEYOR APPRENTICE
BASED: ALTRINCHAM, CHESHIRE
The employer:
Oakwood Property Services is a firm of chartered surveyors based in north Cheshire. We started in business just over six years ago and are a small firm with five staff, but ambitions to grow. We have an interesting case load with a mix of agricultural, residential and commercial property work. Our managing director specialises in valuations as Expert Witness across Cheshire, North West England and North Wales, along with delivery of specialist property advice. Our Associate has responsibility for landlord/tenant consultancy, agency and property lettings/management.
The business is based in Altrincham town centre, close to the transport interchange.
There is a good track record of training.
The role:
The requirement is for an apprentice with an interest in property matters, ideally with an enjoyment of rural matters. The successful candidate will initially assist in matters such as viewings, property measurement, preparation of sales details, mapping, writing up valuation reports and property inspections. They may also be involved with utility work
The role will form part of our small team, but some degree of self-sufficiency, in terms of managing workload, will be expected.
A high standard of literacy is required, along with good IT skills.
Driving licence and access to a car would be useful.
Apprenticeship:
Oakwood is offering the post of apprentice chartered surveyor with funded training at Harper Adams University. The post will lead to MRICS qualification.
The post is full time, but with paid time for apprenticeship modules.
This is an entry level position for which we seek an enthusiastic and motived individual for a trainee role.
