Position: Immunisation Nurse – School‑Aged Immunisation, Harrow and Brent
Contract: Bank
Start Date: September 2026 – December 2026 (4 months)
Working Hours: Flexible (Part‑Time / Full Time). Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Job Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to facilitate smooth service delivery.
* Vaccinate 20‑25 school children per hour during flu season.
* Promote and support the operation of the School‑Aged Immunisation Service.
* Support Programme Managers, Team Lead and Clinical Lead as required.
* Attend sites across different locations as directed by the line manager.
* Deliver evidence‑based, competent care to patients.
* Participate in clinical supervision and staff development.
* Report, monitor and process all clinical incidents, near‑misses and complaints in line with organisational policy.
* Participate in audits, make recommendations, and share outcomes for learning.
* Maintain accurate record‑keeping in line with company policy.
* Actively contribute to team meetings.
* Undertake Gillick Competency Assessments and obtain verbal consent from parents and caregivers.
* Undertake other duties commensurate with the position.
Person Specification – Skills (Essential)
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Experience within PGD frameworks.
* Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule.
* Knowledge of informed consent principles.
* Computer literate with basic Excel knowledge.
* Cold chain management, ordering and transport arrangements.
* Effective written and verbal communication.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Assertive, team‑player and critical thinker.
Person Specification – Qualifications (Essential)
* Registered Nurse, Pharmacist or Allied Healthcare professional with current registration: NMC, GPhC or HCPC.
* Nursing and/or Midwifery qualification.
* Valid driving licence.
Person Specification – Qualifications (Desirable)
* Basic Life Support certification.
* Competence certificates for relevant vaccinations.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
