Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £93 – £113 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work on a day-to-day supply basis at schools in Doncaster. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), this is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, particularly those considering a future in teaching or education.
Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:
* Supervise students during the absence of the regular teacher.
* Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects.
* Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
* Ensure students stay on task and complete the work set.
* Report back on student behaviour and lesson outcomes to teaching staff.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
* Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Confidence to lead a class and follow provided lesson plans.
* Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy classroom setting.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
