Learning and Ethos Officer (maternity cover)
Contract: Full time & Temporary (maternity cover)
Hours: 37hrs per week, 39wks per year (term time only)
Start: September 2025
We are seeking a dedicated support staff member to join our learning and ethos officer team at Cardiff West. The ideal candidate will have high aspirations for all, focus on raising standards, and be committed to restorative approaches.
This temporary position covers maternity leave until 31/08/2026 or until the permanent post holder resumes or resigns.

All School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) under the Education (Wales) Act 2014.
Internal candidates applying on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081), approved by the relevant Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2, or in schools, the Headteacher / Governing Body.
