We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher to join a supportive and well-regarded secondary school in Telford from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your teaching career in a nurturing environment with structured guidance and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are inclusive and engaging for all learners
* Build a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere where students are encouraged to achieve their best
* Work collaboratively with your mentor and wider teaching staff to continuously reflect on and improve your practice
* Support the academic and personal growth of students through both classroom teaching and wider school activities
* Participate fully in the school’s CPD programme and Early Career Teacher induction process
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification
* Recent experience working with secondary-aged pupils, ideally gained during your training placements or first ECT year
* A strong command of your subject area and a passion for teaching
* Ability to motivate and engage students through creative and responsive teaching approaches
* Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations
* A reflective, committed attitude with a desire to grow professionally
* An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (including explanations for any gaps), and an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
