As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing essential non-medical support services, enabling them to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.
1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities
3. Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
4. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties
5. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities as required
6. Administer medication as per prescribed schedules and guidelines
7. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant events or observations
8. Collaborate with other care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
9. Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance your skills and knowledge
10. Adapt to changing client needs and preferences, ensuring a person-centred approach to care
Qualifications
11. No formal qualifications required; full training will be provided to achieve the care certificate
12. Previous experience in a care setting or interacting with older people is beneficial but not essential
13. Genuine passion for supporting others and commitment to delivering outstanding care
14. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships
15. Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful demeanour
16. Empathetic nature with the ability to provide emotional support
