The Role
A prestigious national law firm, recognised for its excellence in complex defendant litigation, is seeking to recruit a Catastrophic Injury Solicitor to join its expanding Serious Injury team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside market-leading Partners and senior lawyers on some of the most high-profile and high-value personal injury cases in the UK. The team acts on behalf of major insurer clients and self-insured organisations, defending claims involving catastrophic and large loss injuries across motor, employer’s liability, and public liability matters.
You’ll be involved in cases concerning traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, brachial plexus injuries, serious orthopaedic injuries, and fatalities. The role offers hands-on experience in analysing complex liability and indemnity issues, drafting detailed legal and technical advice, and contributing to the successful defence of multi-million-pound claims.
As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you’ll assist senior colleagues on high-value cases while managing your own caseload of large loss matters under supervision. You’ll engage directly with clients and claimant solicitors, attend conferences, mediations, and hearings, and play an active role in the team’s continued development and success.
