Overview
Our Woking Locality Team are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their friendly team, based in our brand new office at Victoria Gate in Woking. The team work in a hybrid manner, with a mixture of working in the office and from home, aiming for full time staff to be in the office 2-3 days per week. The role is based in Surrey and offers a starting salary of £42,239 per annum for a 36 hour week (full-time). Part-time applications are welcomed.

Responsibilities
* Assess for major adaptations and specialised equipment; complete moving and handling risk assessments.
* Support residents to live meaningful lives within the community, aligning with the core aims of occupational therapy.
* Provide regular supervision to staff and contribute to a supportive team environment.
* Engage in professional development and participate in the Senior Readiness Program to progress toward senior OT roles.
Team and Role Context
We are a caring, professional team comprising Social Care and Occupational Therapy Practitioners, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists. We work closely with carers, family members and partner organisations to enable residents to live their best possible lives and to ensure carers and families feel supported.
No two days are the same; we offer a mix of clinical and community-based work with ongoing supervision and informal support from the wider team.
Shortlisting Criteria
* Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
* Experience in a social care, health or community-focused multidisciplinary setting.
* Ability to complete person-centred and proportionate OT assessments.
* Familiarity with moving and handling equipment (e.g., hoists, stand aids).
* Knowledge of medical conditions and their impact on individuals, carers and families.
* Knowledge of current legislation (Care Act, Mental Capacity Act) and its application to practice in social care.
* Willingness to travel across a wide geographical area; valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (locality-based postings).
