At Saga, our ambition is to become the most-trusted brand for older people in the UK. Our Investor Relations team is responsible for bringing this strategy to life to our financial community and external stakeholders. As the Investor Relations Administrator, you will be at the heart of this team, acting as a true advocate of Saga Plc. You will be involved in creating effective materials to convey the Saga story through press releases, PowerPoint presentations, and interactions with key stakeholders, including representing the company at investor conferences and the AGM. Reporting to the Director of Investor Relations and Treasury, you will keep executive management and the Board informed of developments impacting the capital markets and Saga plc securities.
Due to the cyclical nature of the role and external events such as the AGM and interim reports, there will be a need for ad-hoc extended working hours. You will be required to visit the London and Folkestone Saga offices a few times a month, so candidates should be in a commutable distance.
The role involves delivering high-quality, reliable, and efficient support to the team, servicing the needs of the financial community and key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the creation of presentations, press releases, and communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and investor presentations.
2. Project managing the production of the Annual Report.
3. Managing the diary of the Director of Investor Relations.
4. Organising and attending key events such as results presentations, roadshows, the AGM, and investor meetings.
5. Supporting and drafting Board updates.
6. Managing shareholder queries and liaising with the share registrar.
7. Coordinating with stockbrokers and PR advisors.
8. Reviewing and updating websites.
9. Supporting budget management and invoice processing.
10. Managing the shareholder database and preparing competitor analysis.
11. Serving as a point of contact for the investment community in time.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in senior administrative roles, confident working with C-suite and external stakeholders. Skills include:
* Strong work ethic with high attention to detail.
* Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in MS 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
* Willingness to question and challenge.
