Qualified Electrician
SGS Heating & Electrical is a well-established heating, plumbing & electrical company based in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Our service offering covers all heating, plumbing and electrical solutions needed in a home or business, as well as providing Renewable and Solar PV systems + full bathroom and kitchen installations.
The role sits primarily within our Electrical Department and would be extremely varied, but the key tasks would include:
* Electrical Projects and Installation work
* Electrical testing and inspection.
* Re-wires of domestic properties, including 1st and 2nd Fix.
* Reactive maintenance works.
* Heating controls (training provided).
* Solar PV installations (training provided).
Key qualifications and requirements
* A completed apprenticeship.
* City & Guilds 2365 (Part 1 and 2).
* City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing).
* City & Guilds BS7671 (18th Edition).
* Strong attention to detail is essential.
* Good communication skills with the ability to work alongside other people inside and outside the business.
* Used to working to a program of works and to deadlines.
* Organised with the ability to prioritise own workload and work proactively.
* Experience working in customer-occupied properties and dealing with customers.
* Would be beneficial to be based within a commutable distance of Salisbury.
