A well-regarded primary school in Birkenhead (CH41) is seeking a General Teaching Assistant to join their team this October. The school is rated Good by Ofsted and is highly respected in the local community. It provides a safe and supportive environment for pupils, with a forward-thinking curriculum designed to meet a wide range of needs, including those of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
With around 200 pupils on roll, the school offers a close-knit, welcoming atmosphere where staff and students enjoy strong relationships.
The Role
As a General Teaching Assistant, you’ll support the learning and development of pupils in the classroom, working closely with the class teacher to help manage and guide the learning environment. This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and is eager to play a part in their progress and wellbeing. It also offers an excellent chance to build experience and develop valuable skills.
Experience with Key Stage 1 (KS1) and phonics is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
