About the role
Provide high quality basic nursing care as directed by care plans and senior staff.
Responsibilities
* Assistance with personal hygiene
* Assistance with toileting
* Assistance with dressing/undressing
* Ensure all patients’ nutritional status is maintained
Perform a range of clinical tasks or procedures which may include (examples listed below are not exhaustive):
* ECG acquisition
* Peripheral IV access
* Venepuncture
* Basic & advanced casting
* Pressure area risk assessment
* Urinalysis
* Pregnancy testing
* Capillary blood glucose monitoring
* Formed stoma care
* Wound care management of simple wounds/basic dressings
* Perform observations using an automated device
* Removal of staples
Requirements
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Healthcare Workers who are passionate about delivering high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced and ever‑evolving emergency setting.
To be considered, applicants should hold a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (such as A-Levels or NVQ Level 3), or have an equivalent level of education with a willingness to undertake the relevant Level 3 qualification upon appointment. Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of 12 months’ experience as a Healthcare Assistant, supported by relevant knowledge gained through practical experience, on‑the‑job training, and short courses, are also encouraged to apply.
