Location: Bedford Milton Keynes Corridor (Nationwide Travel Required)
Salary: £30,000+ (DOE) + Overtime + Bonuses + Benefits
A well-established and highly regarded specialist contractor within the shutter and door installation sector is seeking an experienced Door Engineer to join its long-standing team.
With decades of industry presence and a strong portfolio of national clients across retail, transport, and commercial environments, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business where engineers are genuinely valued and retained long-term.
The Role:
* Installation, servicing, and repair of roller shutters and sliding/folding door systems
* Working across a variety of clean, modern environments including shopping centres, airports, and service stations
* Nationwide travel with occasional overnight stays and night work (planned in advance where possible)
* Working in a small, professional team with a strong focus on safety and quality
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Door / Shutter Engineer
* CSCS Blue Card (Skilled Worker Door Engineer)
* IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness (or willingness to obtain)
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Strong practical skills (cutting, drilling, installation)
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to pass security clearance (including 5-year traceable history and clean record)
Desirable:
* Electrical experience (advantageous but not essential) xkybehq
Working Hours & Benefits:
* Core hours: MondayFriday, 08:3018:00
* Overtime available (enhanced rates up to x1.5)
