JUNIOR SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER

Grow your skills, support daily operations, and build your path to becoming a Supply Chain Planner.


Hours: 35 hours per week



Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00



Salary: £26, ,000 dependant on experience



Location: Hybrid- New Milton, Hampshire



Training : In office for the first 2 weeks.



Start Date : March 2026



Please note that this role is subject to pre‑employment screening, including Right to Work checks and two years of referencing. All screening must be completed prior to your start date, which may result in the start date being adjusted if required.


This role is a UK based role and any hybrid/remote work must also be within the UK.

For this role, you need 5mpbs upload and 15mpbs download internet speed

Key Role Requirements



Essential Experience

* Experience working in a similar role within a busy office or customer service environment
* Ability to contribute ideas and feedback to improve processes
* Confidence in identifying and supporting service improvement projects


Desirable Experience

* Familiarity with supply chain systems
* Understanding of supply chain functions
* General office experience


Qualifications & Training

* GCSEs (A–C) including Maths and English, or equivalent (O‑Level or NVQ Level 2/3)


Skills, General & Special Knowledge

* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Strong written and verbal communication

ABOUT THE ROLE


As a Junior Supply Chain Planner, you'll play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly every day. You'll support the team by ensuring materials, information, and documentation flow efficiently across the entire process. From purchasing and logistics to inventory and supplier coordination, you'll help maintain operational excellence while building the skills needed to grow into a full Supply Chain Planner role.


Main Responsibilities & Activities



Procurement Support

* Assist the Supply Planner and Analyst with creating purchase orders—sending, confirming, checking acknowledgements, and progressing orders when required.
* Manage the purchasing inbox, including processing Requests to Purchase and New Vendor Requests.
* Help maintain and review purchase order accuracy within Business Central, ensuring data is up to date and discrepancies are flagged.
* Support overdue order progression and maintain strong ERP data integrity.


Planning & Coordination

* Assist the Supply Chain Planner with planning activities, production planning sheets, and necessary ERP updates.
* Support the Supply Chain Team across general day‑to‑day tasks and project needs.
* Liaise with our third‑party warehouse to resolve queries efficiently.


Documentation & Compliance

* Assist with administering supply chain documents such as subcontractor onboarding.
* Ensure data integrity across the Business Central system is consistently upheld.


Growth & Development

* Undergo targeted training and study to progress into the Supply Chain Planner role.
* Prepare to take ownership of planning and purchasing stock based on business demand as you develop.
