Cudo Ventures is hiring a Part-Time Finance Manager to assist with and streamline our financial operations — all from the comfort of your remote workspace. Reporting to the Finance Director, we’re looking for a true self-starter — someone who takes initiative, drives process improvements, and thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment. What You’ll Be Doing As our Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of key financial processes and work closely with our team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. You'll be involved in: Accounting & Reporting Manage bank feeds and incoming invoices in Xero Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly P&L reports Allocate revenue and costs across business activities Sales & Invoicing Automate recurring invoices and issue ad hoc ones Communicate professionally with customers Continuously improve invoicing processes Purchasing & Suppliers Record supplier invoices and generate purchase orders Resolve supplier queries quickly and professionally VAT & Compliance Submit quarterly VAT returns Compile year-end data for auditors Maintain the fixed asset register Payroll Support Accurately calculate and communicate employee commissions ✅ What You Bring We value action-oriented, organised professionals who can thrive independently in a remote setting. You'll have a lot to get through so you need to be prepared to be proactive in your approach and be confident in your abilities without relying too heavily on the rest of the team. Must-Have: Strong communication and time management skills Proficiency in Google Sheets Proven ability to work proactively and independently Preferred: Strong knowledge of Xero Experience preparing management accounts Bonus points if you're based near Bournemouth A keen eye for detail and drive for process improvement Why Join Us?
