Sales Account Manager / Business Development Manager – NHS Medical Devices - South West England
My client is a market leader in the control of medical gas therapy. They market & manufacturing a range of technical and specialist equipment. This role is focused into NHS healthcare related customers selling medical products such as oxygen regulators, vacuum regulators. These products are medical devices.
The ideal candidate will be a technical sales specialist who excels with a features and benefits type sell. This role is a mixture of hunter and farmer, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable and experienced selling to NHS Medical Physics / Clinical Engineering departments (EBME) AND Ward Level Staff.
Whilst medical gas control equipment experience is advantageous it is not necessarily required but experience of selling a medical device and capital equipment device is most definitely needed and a proven history of talking to ward staff and contacts in EBME.
Communication is key and the ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting and selling to nurses, senior consultants, purchasing, engineering physics contacts. A full, clean driving license is required
A minimum of 4 years Sales Account Management or Regional Sales Management or BDM Sales
Plan and prioritise personal sales activities.
Build and cement relationships in medical physics and clinical engineering depts.
Use and maintain a CRM system.
4 plus years Key Account Management / Regional Sales Management. Technical product sales in a NHS medical device / medical capital equipment area .
~ Medical Gas experience would be amazing.
45k to £55k basic plus bonus 20%
