We are looking for an Animal Nursing assistant to join our wonderful team here at Kingsteignton Veterinary Practice, could this person be you?

Previous experience in the position in a veterinary practice would be preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

* Animal restraint of a variety of species
* Cleaning of theatre/ kennels/ reception/ consults
* Assisting with reception duties to include answering the phone, booking in appointments etc
* Dispensing medication and maintaining stock
* Setting up theatre & other clinical areas as required
* Preparing patients for their procedures
* Helping care for our patients to include basic husbandry as requested by the RVN/ Vets.
* General cleaning, laundry, and restocking

This role is perfect for anyone hoping to Train as an RVN in the Future, and we will support the right candidates in progressing toward that goal when available.

The position is full time 40 hours a week working varied shifts over 4/5 days Monday to Friday.
