The Role
We are seekingfull-timeData Analystswithstrong public sector experienceto work in a small team alongside client staff.Mostwork will be performed from home, however there will be occasionalwork on client site (London). The core working hours areMonday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.Please note that due to the nature of our work, successful applicants will besubject to UK Security Clearance checks.
Ideal candidates
Ideal candidates will specialise, or have proven experience in one or more of the following capability areas:
* Work closely with end users, stakeholders, and technicalteams to gather requirements andvalidateoutcomes.
* Data analysis and interpretationof complex structures to support successful data migration projects.
* Design,documentand deliver data mappingspecifications aligned to business and technical requirements.
* Ensuredata quality, accuracy, and consistencythroughout the migration process.
* Identifyrisks, issues, and opportunitiesfor process improvement during data migration activities.
* Produceclear documentation and reportingto support project governance and audit requirements.
* Experience insystem integration and large-scaletransformation programmes.
* Knowledge ofinformation governance, data security, and compliance requirementswithin the public sector.
* Design, document, and deliverdata mappingspecifications aligned to business and technical requirements.
The role will require
* Proven experience indata mapping and data migration projects(ideally in a public sector, but this is not essential).
* Experience working withlaw enforcement or criminal justice organisationsis highly desirable.
* Stronganalytical and problem-solving skillswith excellent attention to detail.
* Ability toengage with end users effectivelyand translate business requirements into technical specifications.
* Proficiencyin relevant data tools,databasesand query languages (SQL, ETL tools)
Regardingknowledge,skillsand experience, werequire
* Excellentverbal communication skills,to confidently and articulately present virtually and in person to clients;immediatelycreating positive impressions andestablishingrapport.
* Strongdocumentation abilityand written communication skills
* Experienced user ofJIRAor similar
* Must be a team-player. Working with and supporting colleagues is a critical success factor for employment at AllThorpe.
* Aproactive,energisedand ambitious attitudeis vital
* 3 years’ experienceminimum in a Data Analyst role (ideally within the public sector).
* Educated to a minimum ofA’Levelsand some form of relevant further education or hands on experience.
The salary for this role will bedeterminedby level of experience within the range of£55,000 - £85,000.
There is also the option to work as a subcontractor for a day rate of £300-£450 dependant on experience.#
Start Date & Interview Process
Screening interviews will take place via a 20-minute Teams call with the Managing Partner. Successful shortlisting will then be followed by a competency interview of 30 minutes.There may be a final face-to-face meeting with one of the management team to ensure you have every opportunity to ensure a good fit.
