An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join the Psychology department working across the Adult Inpatient services.
The successful applicant will work with a multi-disciplinary therapies team, including Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists, embedded within a wider multi-disciplinary team of clinical professionals. The role involves the delivery of individual and group psychotherapy, supporting therapeutic approaches on the ward, and MDT working.
Suitable candidates will have an interest in and knowledge of therapeutic approaches to a range of complex adult mental health difficulties and diagnoses. The post holder will need to be able to form positive relationships with colleagues and be interested in working in teams.
There are excellent CPD and training opportunities for employees within this service, and funded and accredited training opportunities will be available and agreed as part of the role (subject to the completion of a probationary period). Attendance at national conferences and research interests are also encouraged.
