About Us
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome‑focused support to over 2,800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country’s largest provider of social care. We support people with a range of needs including physical or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse, autism, challenging behaviour and high levels of personal care.
The Role
As a Support Practitioner you will assist individuals with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care. You will also help them pursue their hobbies – from outings and movies to gym sessions or group activities – recognising that each person’s interests are unique.
Eligibility
Female candidates with a full UK manual driving licence are required to apply (you do not need to own a vehicle).

Recruitment Process
All successful Support Practitioner applicants will receive a conditional offer subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check. New staff members must register with the SSSC within three months of their start date.
