Senior Quantity Surveyor - Cardiff

Your new company A leading construction contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in the Cardiff region. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple sites and contribute to a variety of high-profile projects.
Your new role
* Conduct measurement and valuation of works for valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Prepare and submit interim valuations in line with agreed schedules
* Manage subcontract procurement, payments, and final accounts
* Administer and advise on contract conditions (JCT/NEC)
* Produce cost value reconciliations and cost-to-complete forecasts
* Deliver accurate financial reporting including cash flow and turnover forecasts
* Support internal valuations and subcontract liability reporting
What you'll need to succeed
* Professionally qualified (HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma or equivalent)
* Strong experience in commercial management and subcontractor procurement
* Confident in monthly reporting and financial forecasting
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* Experience in design & build projects with sound knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
* Background in infrastructure or housebuilding considered
* Public sector experience preferred
* Familiarity with two-stage open book collaborative approaches desirable
* Working towards or holding RICS or CIOB membership
