Our client based on the outskirts of York is looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager.
Location: York YO26
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join a friendly, professional, and driven company that prides itself on being the UK’s leading training provider in their industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing business relationships, ensuring client needs are met, and providing solutions that support their training growth.
This role requires a strong combination of account management skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of B2B processes and dynamics.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned business client.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
* Understand client goals to provide tailored training solutions.
* Answer incoming calls, deal with training inquiries, and provide accurate information.
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to meet client needs.
* Monitor account performance and suggest improvements or additional services.
* Coordinate resources to ensure the successful delivery of services and products.
* Drive client retention through exceptional service and prompt issue resolution.
* Update CRM with all client information, ensuring accuracy and currency.
* Respond to customer emails and calls professionally and promptly.
* Attend exhibitions and client meetings across the country.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in sales and account management.
* Background in account management with demonstrated client development skills.
* Excellent communication skills and confident telephone manner.
* Professional approach suitable for representing a reputable company.
* Ability to build rapport quickly and think on your feet.
* Consultative selling skills to develop long-term relationships.
* Ability to control expenditure through purchase processes.
