About the Role
As a Quality Management Systems Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Carlsberg Britvic's Quality Management System. You'll ensure product quality, food safety, employee health and safety, and environmental protection standards are consistently met. Reporting to the Head of Operational Quality SD, you'll implement and maintain processes that drive the company's Quality strategy while fostering a strong Food Safety & Quality culture through audits, training, and workshops.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and publish head office documents according to Carlsberg Britvic's document control standards, incorporating changing certification, legal, and stakeholder requirements.
* Administer the Quality Management System by completing routine tasks, managing tickets, conducting system sweeping, and ensuring data validation checks for continued compliance.
* Generate and communicate management system reports to ensure timely availability of KPI information and drive accountability for non‑conformities and incidents.
* Maintain the audit schedule, conduct audits as part of the Quality auditor pool, and assist with external certification audits.
* Develop and build system functionality and Business Intelligence reports as required by the evolving needs of the business.
* Provide training and support for system users at all levels while promoting Food Safety & Quality culture initiatives.
* Audit bottling sites and/or suppliers as part of the company's quality assurance programme.
Experience and Key Attributes
* Detailed working knowledge of quality and food safety management systems including ISO 9001/22000 and GFSI schemes, with experience in implementation and maintenance.
* Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management systems (ISO 14001/45001) in food and drink manufacturing.
* Strong IT literacy with the ability to understand systems and train others effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work autonomously.
* Rigorous attention to detail combined with analytical skills to present data meaningfully.
* Collaborative approach with strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* A‑level education (or equivalent vocational qualification), preferably in a science‑based discipline, with Food Safety level 2 certification.
