Quality Assurance Technician Location: Chippenham (rural site - own transport required) Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a proactive Quality Assurance Technician to lead our internal audit programme and support our journey toward full BRCGS accreditation. This is a hands-on role within our Technical Team, working closely with Production and Engineering to ensure compliance with food safety, legal, and quality standards. You'll play a key part in maintaining audit readiness and driving a strong quality culture across the site. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver the internal audit schedule against BRCGS and customer standards. Conduct audits covering GMP, hygiene, traceability, and document control. Prepare for and support external audits and customer visits. Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and track progress. Maintain QA documentation, records, and procedures to ensure accuracy and usability. Validate cleaning processes and food safety controls (e.g., metal detection). Collect and manage samples for microbiological and allergen testing.
