Indra is the central program driving the introduction and safe scaling of AI at Deutsche Bank. Focus is to identify AI potential across various banking operations, driving funded use cases into production to create value and confidence and scale across the bank, creating selected shared services with embedded safety to enable low cost scale, developing an AI Workbench for developers for safe AI development at pace, and introducing AI controls whilst aiming to maintain time to market.
This role focuses on managing AI demand intake, acting as the key interface between CIOs and the central AI team. It ensures AI use cases are properly triaged, tracked, and aligned with AI service models and governance frameworks. The Director plays a critical role in AI adoption, compliance monitoring, and reporting, ensuring a structured pathway for AI initiatives from ideation to production.

Your key responsibilities
* Lead the AI demand function, ensuring seamless interaction between CIOs and the central AI team
* Oversee triaging of AI use cases together with ensuring proper routing to AI services, platforms, standards, and controls
* Drive AI adoption and scale common AI services across the bank while preventing duplicate or overlapping use cases
* Own and manage the AI Book of Work (BoW) across CIOs and central services. Define and govern the AI service catalog, tracking AI demand and recommending new AI services
* Ensure alignment with AI cost/consumption teams for appropriate funding and resource allocation
* Supervise governance of AI pipeline, ensuring RAG status tracking, compliance, and escalation to senior stakeholders
Your skills and experience
* Solid knowledge in technology, product, or AI governance roles, with experience in financial services or a highly regulated industry
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with C-level executives
* Experience in AI/ML use case lifecycle management, from demand intake to productionisation.
* Deep understanding of AI governance, compliance, and transparency reporting
* Strong analytical skills, with expertise in AI cost management and business case development.
* Familiarity with AI platforms, standardisation, and enterprise AI frameworks
