Key Responsibilities
Support the impactful grant-making process, including liaison with grant recipients, direct beneficiaries and grant panel judges.
Work alongside the team to plan, develop, promote and undertake a range of events and activities (large and small) across the region.
Participate in multi-organisational community events – engaging on a 1-to-1 basis with healthcare professionals, corporate agencies and members of the public.
Act as an ambassador for the charity in all interactions with external stakeholders, supporters, patients, families and the community.
Support the profile-raising of the charity by contributing to a number of marketing activities, including electronic newsletters, website updating, customer relationship management and social media activity.
Contribute to the day-to-day effectiveness of the charity via a range of operational and administrative duties, as required by the CEO.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and who possesses the following:
Experience in a customer-facing role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent IT skills, including experience of managing client data.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
A confidence to talk to a range of stakeholders, with the ability to adapt approach to the audience and situation.
A professional and friendly manner with a can-do attitude.
