Job Title: Employment Solicitor (2–5 Years PQE)
Location: Manchester | Hybrid (up to 2 days WFH)
A well‑established, full‑service commercial law firm with a strong reputation in the North West is seeking a talented Employment Solicitor (2–5 years PQE) to join its expanding Employment team in Manchester.

🔎 The Role
You will be responsible for running your own varied employment law caseload, supporting a broad range of employer clients including SMEs, owner‑managed businesses, HR teams, and senior executives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing practical, commercial advice across the full range of employment matters
* Managing senior exits and negotiated departures
* Advising on TUPE transfers (both in corporate and outsourcing contexts)
* Handling collective consultation processes and redundancy exercises
* Conducting and managing Employment Tribunal litigation from start to finish
* Supporting colleagues on corporate transactions, including due diligence, warranty reviews, and post‑completion advisory work
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Contributing to business development initiatives and developing your own client base over time
You will work closely with the Head of Employment (based in the Liverpool office) while enjoying autonomy and support to grow your practice.
This role will suit you if you:
* Have 2–5 years’ PQE in employment law
* Are confident managing your own files and delivering clear, pragmatic advice
* Have strong litigation experience and enjoy advocacy and case strategy
* Are commercially minded and proactive in client engagement
* Have a genuine interest in business development and building your profile
* Are ambitious, enthusiastic, and keen to work towards partnership
