Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to enhance the overall appearance of the premises.
Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors, ensuring they are hygienic and well-presented.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Assist with laundry duties as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns in a friendly manner.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
The position is every Saturday until the end of October. The candidate must be available during school holidays as this is our peak season.
