PMO Lead

About the Role:
As the PMO Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of change initiatives, ensuring robust governance, and maintaining an up-to-date view of all ongoing projects. Your expertise will help guide teams through challenges and ensure successful implementation of change plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio, Programme, and Project Support:
Provide guidance on project management processes, tools, and techniques.
Support project control boards and assurance teams to maintain project integrity.
Set up and provide detailed guidance on project management software.
Change Gateway Management:
Own the Change Planning Board process, maintaining an updated plan of all digital launches and organizational changes.
Ensure senior leadership is informed of potential challenges and stakeholder impacts.
Communicate decisions and upcoming changes clearly to senior leadership.
Resourcing:
Assist teams in resourcing and recruitment activities.
Provide guidance on resource management software and procedures.
Risk Management:
Implement organization-wide risk management processes.
Document risks and mitigation actions to safeguard project integrity.
Business Intelligence:
Develop and deliver management information to aid decision-making.
Identify opportunities to optimize business intelligence capabilities.
Continuous Improvement:
Act as the custodian of lessons learned from project reviews.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement actionable improvements.
What We're Looking For:
Strong background in PMO, project support, or portfolio management.
Experience with project planning tools such as MS Project or Project Online.
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders effectively.
Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Managing Successful Programmes, Prince 2, Agile Project Management) are essential.
