We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to join one of the M+C Saatchi Group's specialist divisions: M+C SAATCHI WORLD SERVICES. We partner with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector to work on national security, social justice and conflict prevention. Our work is international, often affecting the most vulnerable in society, with activity oriented towards developing countries and fragile, conflict-affected states.
This full-time, permanent role is based out of our London office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an IT Support Analyst, you will work in an ITIL-aligned environment providing support to desktops, laptops, mobiles, tablets and printers, and a range of hardware and software applications. This role offers growth in 1st and 2nd line support within a large environment across both Mac and Windows technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support Office 365 and Google Suite accounts
* Manage data security within the wider business to ensure data is securely backed up and stored
* Investigate new and existing systems to support business growth
* Provide BAU support including laptop builds, printers and mobile phone support
* Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to service management principles
* Take ownership of user problems and be proactive in resolving issues
* Secure networks and advise users on best practices
* Oversee phone systems, meeting room equipment and other hardware
* Office 365 email, Teams, Slack and Okta administration
* Maintain asset register daily
* Manage end-to-end IT setup for JML
* End user training and documentation maintenance
* Provide remote and global support as needed
* Troubleshoot and resolve local network and connectivity issues
* Enforce IT security policies at the local office level and report incidents to the central IT security team
ABOUT YOU
What you bring (experience, qualifications, skills):
* Microsoft Windows versions 10
* Apple iOS installation, configuration and troubleshooting
* Active Directory user and group administration
* Audio Visual and video conference technologies and hardware
* Anti-virus installation and centralised deployment/management tools (e.g. Sophos)
* Remote/Secure access & VPN solutions (FortiClient)
* WAN/LAN technologies
* Service Desk call logging software (Fresh Service)
* Wi-Fi technologies (Meraki)
* Desktop Imaging (Windows & Mac)
* Email management/security (Mimecast)
* Microsoft Office 365 administration
* Mobile telephony (iOS and Android)
* Secure file sharing system (Egnyte)
* Occasional overtime may be available to meet business demands
* Willing to work weekends and out-of-hours on occasion
* Strong logical thinking and troubleshooting abilities with contextual priority assessment
* Experience of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with the business at all levels
* Understanding of PC/Mac hardware setup, networking principles and agency tools
* Previous Helpdesk experience is ideal but not essential
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with call logging software
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
* Desire to progress, high motivation and good teamwork
