Role responsibilities:
These indicators are what the Company can expect to see when the role is being performed to the required standard.
* Ensure all standard checklists are used as prescribed.
* To be able to deal with any reasonable requests from guests in a professional manner.
* Guest property lost / found procedure is adhered to.
* To ensure all documentation, i.e. checks/bills are completed as necessary and carried out as per the Hotel and Company Standards.
* To strive and anticipate customer needs whenever possible and react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Carry out Night Audit and associated processes
* Carry out efficient check in & check out on reception.
* Balancing of cash & Credit cards..
* Ensure all corridors are clear; fire extinguishers and fire doors are secure.
* Conduct safety floor checks during the night.
* Clean and tidy public areas where necessary
* Help with setting up conference rooms
* Carry out timely and efficient Morning Call service as required.
* Service of drinks and room service meals according to guest requests.
* Any other duties as requested by your line manager
* Opera PMS system experience would be an advantage
